Lincoln Ringing Course 2008

JOINT SERVICE RINGING COURSE

LINCOLN 2008

This year’s course will be run on a similar theme to last year. It will however be during the week hopefully making all the ‘on campus’ facilities available.

The course will start on the morning of Wednesday 16^th July with the usual round of theory and discussion. We will then have ringing practice on the Wednesday afternoon, all day Thursday and Friday morning. I would also like to finish with some quarter peals on the Friday afternoon.

I intend to run two groups as last year, a doubles/minor group and a triples/major group. Although not finalised I hope to have accommodation available on four nights starting Tuesday 15^th through to Friday 18^th July. I have asked for accommodation for thirty people and can also accept non residents. The accommodation is comfortable, is central to Lincoln and has facilities and nearby shops. I am also looking into organising evening social events.
